School Occupational Therapist | Winthrop, MA

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.   

Details of the Position Include:

Location: Winthrop, MA

Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 35 hours /week

Requirements:  A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Prior experience in a school setting preferred, Experience working with children with special education needs preferred.

Pay Rate: Up to $70/hour based on experience 

Details: 

• Identification of children who require Occupational Therapy in the Winthrop Public Schools.
• Screening, assessment and development of assessment reports and Individualized Educational Plans for children qualifying for Occupational Therapy services.
• Provide direct and consultation Occupational Therapy services to students who have Individual Education Plans and 504s.
• Timely completion of all paperwork, including but not limited to documentation required for IEPs, team meetings, progress reports, billing/logging, and departmental paperwork.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services throughout the Winthrop Public Schools.
