The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Hours/week: 36 (3 x12)

Shift: Nights
Weekly Pay: $3,600.10

  • Taxable Income: $2,123.10
  • Stipends: $1,477.00

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced CAT Scan Technologists for a travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Visalia, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with strong diagnostic and CT experience, especially those familiar with Toshiba 64 Slice technology.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent CAT Scan experience
  • Prior travel healthcare experience
  • Experience with Toshiba 64 Slice CT preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

? California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
? ARRT (R)(CT)
? BLS (Basic Life Support)
? Fluoroscopy License
? IV Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Travel professionals must be adaptable and ready to hit the ground running
