Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher | $42/hr | 37.5 hrs/week | 39-week Contract
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We’re seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality services to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. This role is under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator and emphasizes collaboration, individualized instruction, and inclusive education.
Position Details:
- Location: Greenville, TX
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
- Duration: 39 weeks
- Pay Rate: $42/hour
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education staff to plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide tutorial assistance and consultation to ensure student success.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract, or district regulations
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)
Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
- Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
