Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: September 15, 2025
Duration: 36 weeks
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $50/hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. In this role, you’ll provide math support through both push-in and pull-out models, collaborating closely with general education staff to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

You’ll be part of a supportive and mission-driven team that values collaboration, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and math support to high school students with diverse learning needs
• Implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide tutorial assistance and consult with general education teachers
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one
• At least 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Certification in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
  • Standard Elementary Teaching
  • Standard Secondary Teaching
  • Standard Special Teaching
  • Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Health certificate (if required by state or district)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
