About the Role

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with preschool-aged students in a school setting in Pasadena. This role focuses on early intervention and language development, helping young learners build foundational communication skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Promote language-rich environments through classroom support and consultation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current California SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations (preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of early childhood development and intervention strategies
