Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Perris, CA
Duration: 5 Weeks
Hours per Week: 37.5
Pay Rate: $65/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological services to students in Perris, CA. This short-term assignment offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students through a variety of mental health and developmental challenges, and assisting in the qualification process for additional support services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Develop and implement intervention strategies
- Assist in determining eligibility for special education services
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
Minimum Requirements:
- Current State licensure and/or certification as a School Psychologist in California
- Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)
- Familiarity with professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
