Position Overview:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, delivering therapy services, and documenting progress in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders. Your work will directly support students in achieving their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Active SLP Licensure in the state of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract
- Familiarity with professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
