?? Position Overview:

As an SLPA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensedSpeech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality speech and languageservices to students. Your role will include clinical support, documentation,and direct treatment activities—all within the scope of care outlined by thesupervising SLP and/or physician.

?? Pay Rate:

$40–$45/hour (based on experience)

?? Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans
  • Support students in achieving communication goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and other school staff
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards and regulations

? Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
  • Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
  • Current SLPA certification/licensure in the state of California
  • Familiarity with professional standards of practice
  • One (1) year of SLPA experience preferred
  • TB screening (PPD or chest x-ray, if applicable)
  • Current health certificate (as required by contract or state)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
