Pay:

• Local: $70/hr
• Travel: $55/hr + $20/hr stipend (lodging & meals)

Position Overview:

Amergis is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students for the 2025–2026 school year. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language pathology services in accordance with student IEPs and school policies.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of services provided.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
• Provide training and support to school staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meets education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Degree from an accredited school of Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• One year of prior professional experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification (if applicable).
• Completion of TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
