Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Corrections | Coralville, IA

We’re hiring a reliable and experienced LPN for a Corrections facility in Coralville, IA. This is a great opportunity for nurses who thrive in structured environments and are passionate about providing care to underserved populations.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: Overnight, 10 PM – 6 AM
Days: Monday–Friday with every other weekend required

Compensation:

Local Candidates: $40/hour
Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $1,850/week

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.

Minimum Requirements:

Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
