Pay Rate: $65/hr
About the Role:
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services to K–12 students across multiple school sites in Portland, OR. This role involves performing evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support students’ communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and hearing screenings
- Provide individualized treatment programs based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development
- Guide educators in identifying and referring speech/language impairments
- Advocate for educational equity and inclusive practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with physician orders
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Oregon SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract)
- Preferred: 1 year of school-based experience
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
