1.1 School Nurse | $37/Hour

We are hiring a qualified Kansas Registered Nurse to work in the school setting for this current school year in Overland Park, Kansas! This is a full time position, following the school district calendar, that pays $37.00/Hour and includes benefits! This is a 1:1 nursing position. We are looking for a candidate to start this position as soon as possible!

The Certified School Nurse (CSN) identifies and treats health conditions among students in the school setting. The CSN provides instruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. The Certified School Nurse must assess the student’s physical condition in the school setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed to be successful in school.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices
• Certification or Credential in school nursing, required 
• One year prior school nursing experience required
• Pediatric experience, preferred 
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
