Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – School-Based | South of Tacoma, WA | $40/hr

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based therapy services to students in the South Tacoma area. This full-time position begins September 15, 2025, and runs for 40 weeks. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will deliver treatment, implement therapy plans, collect standardized assessment data, and document services in accordance with student needs and district guidelines.

Position Overview

Location: South of Tacoma, WA
Start Date: September 15, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week
Duration: 40 weeks
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Setting: On-site, school-based
Population: Pediatric (K–12)
Supervision: Direct oversight by licensed OT

Minimum Requirements

Active Washington COTA license or certification
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
One year of experience preferred
Pediatric experience preferred
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB screening and health certificate (if applicable)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
