The Endoscopy RN will be responsible for planning andadministering care of the patient undergoing diagnostic Endoscopy procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich he/she practices
  • One (1) year experience in a GI/Endo lab within the lastthree years preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age 
Endoscopy RN- Mission Hills, CA

Start date: ASAP
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 0700-1530 (no weekends or holidays; no on call)
Years of experience REQ: 1 year. Candidates should have at least one year of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI Lab.
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: No
CERTS REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS, CA RN Licensure
Is on-call REQ? No
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Locals accepted: Yes!

Additional Information: This position is at a stand alone endoscopy center. Examples of procedures performed at clinic: upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy; biopsy, peg placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo; X-track. Daily procedures 40-45, with 3 Gastroenterologist & multiple Endo Techs. Patients with ASA 1,2, & 3
