Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Cashion, Arizona
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: Through May 2026 (36 weeks)

About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community serving grades Pre-K through 8th. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality educational services to students with diverse learning needs, working closely with general education staff and paraprofessionals to ensure every child thrives.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student success.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Certification: Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement preferred).
• Experience: 1+ year in a teaching environment (preferred).
• Current CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate (as required).
• Must meet all state and federal requirements and be at least 18 years old.

Compensation

• Local Rate: $50/hr (Approx. $2,000/week)
• Travel Rate: $40/hr + $15/hr for lodging & meals (Approx. $2,200/week)
• Weekly Hours: 40
