?? About the Role:
As a School RN, you’ll be the frontline of student health, providing expert care and support in a dynamic school environment. You’ll float between campuses, responding to medical needs, supporting chronic conditions, and collaborating with families, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure every student thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care in school health offices
- Respond to medical emergencies and severe health needs
- Support students with chronic conditions and emotional well-being
- Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Provide classroom support as needed
? What You’ll Need:
- Current RN license in Kansas or compact license
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- School Nurse Certification (as required by state or contract)
- 1+ year of experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health (preferred)
- CPR certification
- TB screening and current health certificate (as required)
- Must be 18+ and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
