Local candidate = $47/hour ($25/hour for orientation week)
Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse and/orPsychiatrist/MD, the Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) assumes directresponsibility for administering or implementing specific therapeuticprocedures, techniques, treatments, or medications with the aim of enablingpatients/clients to make optimal use of their therapeutic regime, and theirresidential or inpatient care. The LPT demonstrates the ability to makeclinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner. The LPT demonstratescritical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care,consistently performs according to established standards and scope of practiceand is accountable for managing and assisting others in the management ofpatient care.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Licensed Psychiatric Technician license for thestate in which the technician practices (LPT only)
One year of psychiatric experience in a similar settingwithin the last three years preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

40 Hours per week 8 Hour shifts 6 Month Contract Local or Travel Packages available
POSITION DETAILS
· 26-week contract minimum (extensions available)
· Orientation is for 2 weeks, Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm
· Orientation Week 1 is in the classroom and at a lower bill/pay rate
· Orientations are usually every other Monday – but this will be confirmed with the client once the HCP is fully cleared
Back out Policy: If a candidate backs out after getting an offer or quits assignment early, they are ineligible for resubmission to Management Solution for future prison opportunities.

BLS from American Heart Association
12 months experience in any setting with the license
CA License

· PCSA form (Calpers Affidavit) – need for submission
· State Check form – need for submission if candidate answers ‘C’ on CalPers form
ONBOARDING TIMELINE
· Management Solution will conduct a phone screening with the candidate within one week of submission and usually we’ll get the offer same day.
· Upon offer, BDM will email the candidate a “moving forward” email with 16 pages of gate clearance docs to be completed within 24 hours.
· BDM will ship mask to HCP with the facility mask sizes.
· Medical needs to be within 30 days of starting, so FS will book: TB T-Spot or Chest X-Ray, Mask Fit, 5 Panel Drug Screen, Oral THC test, MMR, Varicella, TDap.
· Once the gate docs clear (takes 2-3 weeks), BDM coordinate the candidate’s live scan at the prison. The live scan may take another 1-2 weeks to clear before the HCP will be given an orientation date.
TIME CARDS
Recruiters will handle all timecards each week
· HCP is required to take a lunch break every day.
· Facility uses paper timecards. HCP will sign in and sign out every day and leave the paper timecard in the facility timecard binder. HCP can make a photocopy at the facility as long as they keep the original in the timecard binder.
· HCP will use the same clock in and clock out times in MaxView that they have in the paper timecard. If there are discrepancies between the timecards, there will be wage recovery letters.
· Timecards must be submitted by Sunday night, no exceptions.
CALL OUTS
Candidates will call the Sacramento Amergis office line for any call off.

*Reminder for Amergis CA Sick Time Policy: Paid sick time may be used after 90 days of employment
^^ If this assignment is their first position with Amergis, they will be eligible for sick time after 90 days on the assignment. If the candidate has already been employed with Amergis over 90 days, I strongly urge you to talk to your candidates about not taking any sick time within the first 30 days of the assignment as to not upset the client.
