Physician Opportunity – Family Medicine or Occupational Medicine (Somerset, KY)
Amergis Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible MD/DO for a contract opportunity with an Employee Health Clinic in Somerset, KY. This role involves providing care to employees and dependents of a local manufacturing plant.
Pay: Weekly
Credentialing Time: 10–12 days
Position Details:
- Specialty: Family Medicine
- Schedule: 4 x 9-hour days or 5x8s (can be flexible)
- Hours: 36 hours/week (can be flexible)
- Start Date: ASAP (credentialing takes approximately 10–12 days)
- Contract Duration: Through 12/28/2025, with strong potential for extension
- On-call: None
Responsibilities:
- Deliver episodic, preventive, and acute care to patients ages 2+
- Onsite dispensing (training provided)
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active KY medical license
- Certifications:
- BC/BE through ABMS, AMA, or AOA
- BLS or ACLS (hands-on required)
- DEA license
