Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate Direct Support Personnel to support an Adult Day Program in South Orange County!

Details
- Setting – Adult Day Program
- Population – Adults from 22-40 with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Location – Laguna Hills or San Juan Capistrano
- Schedule – Monday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm OR 8:30pm-3pm
- Pay – $23/hr
- WEEKLY PAY!
Duties
- Self-help (menu planning, grocery shopping, laundry, household maintenance)
- Personal development (fitness, hygiene, confidence skills)
- Community integration as determined by individual needs/goals
- Mobility training
- Social behavior training
- Providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as needed to redirect behaviors
- Work in a 1:2 staff to student ratio
- Build confidence through daily living skills like hygiene, communication and personal responsibility
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age with 5 years of driving experience
- ABA experience preferred
- Bring a can-do attitude and collaborative spirit to every shift – positivity is a must!
- Approach challenges with optimism and a solution-oriented mind set
- Relative medicals (TB test, drug screening), DOJ fingerprinting, background check
