Classroom Support:
Will have support from the Evaluation Team
Day to Day Duties:
Full-spectrum evaluations: Conduct initial andre-evaluations for special education eligibility across multiple disabilitycategories (excluding visual, hearing, and speech impairments).
Behavioral support: Develop and implement FunctionalBehavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and trainstaff on how to use them effectively.
Counseling services: Provide direct counseling to studentsas a related service, especially those with emotional or behavioral challenges.
Consultation & collaboration: Work closely withteachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, andsocial-emotional needs.
Crisis intervention: Support students and staff duringcrises, including mental health emergencies or behavioral escalations.
Professional development: Offer training to staff on mentalhealth topics, behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
Data collection & progress monitoring: Track studentoutcomes and help teams make data-informed decisions.
