Job Title: School Psychologist (In-Person)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Full School Year (Estimated Start: 9/1/2025)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (~33.75 hours/week)

Position Overview:

The School Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting students’ mental health, developmental needs, and academic success. This position involves conducting assessments, collaborating with educational teams, and helping qualify students for additional support services. Services may be delivered either in-person or virtually, depending on assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services to students in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Conduct 20–25 assessments annually across 1–2 school locations
  • Review student files and requests, and perform evaluations using appropriate tools
  • Document thoroughly and accurately within the BCPS system
  • Collaborate with school teams to make recommendations within scope of practice
  • Participate in orientation and training with district staff

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be licensed as a School Psychologist in Maryland (MD) prior to starting
  • Offers may be extended to candidates with out-of-state licenses; MD licensure process may take 4–6 weeks
  • Master’s degree in Psychology preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Caseload: 15–20 students across 1–2 school locations
  • EMR System: BCPS
  • Dress Code: School-appropriate attire
