Special Education Teacher – South St. Paul, MN | $45/hr | Full School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for South St. Paul Public Schools for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is an in-person position supporting K–1 students in a Resource Elementary setting (federal settings 1 and 2). Interview feedback is typically provided within 48–72 hours.

Position Details

  • South St. Paul, MN 

  • Start Date: September 2, 2025

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

  • Caseload: 15 students (K–1)

  • Contract Length: 39 weeks

  • Pay Rate: $45/hr

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

  • Valid Minnesota teaching certificate as required by district and state regulations

  • Minimum one year of classroom experience (preferred)

  • Licensure:

    • Standard Elementary Teaching (preferred)

    • Standard Secondary Teaching (preferred)

    • Standard Special Teaching (preferred)

    • Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement (preferred)

  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
