?? Clinical Responsibilities
- Assist obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures
- Prepare and maintain delivery rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and report any irregularities
- Support patients during childbirth, including positioning and comfort measures
- Assist with neonatal care, including resuscitation if needed
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers
?? Operational & Technical Duties
- Set up and operate medical equipment used during labor and delivery
- Clean and sterilize instruments and delivery rooms after procedures
- Collect, label, and store specimens properly
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
?? Administrative & Support Tasks
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately
- Perform clerical tasks such as updating patient records and scheduling
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the birthing process
