Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a PhysicalTherapist for the 2025-2026 school year! 

 

 

 

Location: Lillington, North Carolina

 

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Contract Length: 2025-2026 School Year

 

 

 

About the Role:

ThePhysical Therapist is responsible for performing student evaluations, as wellas providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with plan of caredeveloped for each student and per physician’s orders when applicable.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to Pre-K students across multiple schools within the district, focusing on developmental and functional needs.
  • Manage a caseload, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed and implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate scheduling independently, adapting to varying school start times and locations while maintaining a full-time workload of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and leadership, including direct communication with the Lead PT and EC Director, to support student progress and program goals.
  • Travel between school sites as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided for same-day travel, ensuring continuity of care across locations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
