Board Certified Behavior Analyst - ES

Locations Needed: Manhattan & Bronx (Submissions already in for Brooklyn & Queens)
Program Type: Special Education Preschool Programs
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
 Lunch: 30-minute unpaid break
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

• One BCBA needed per borough
• Travel required within assigned borough (not multiple schools per day)
• Responsibilities include behavior consultation and support within SPED preschool settings

Requirements:

• Active NYS BCBA certification
• Preschool and special education experience preferred
• In-person interview required
• Parking available at school sites

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES providesconsultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implementsbehavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioraldeficits.  The Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, andsupervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the schoolsetting.

Minimum Requirements:  

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching,psychology or related field
• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programsand services in schools
• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
