Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Hood River Area | $45/hr | Full-Time

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person role supporting multiple school sites in the Hood River area for the 2025–2026 school year. This position offers a structured caseload and collaborative clinical environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Hood River area

• Start Date: September 8, 2025

• Contract Length: 9 months (39 weeks)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week (37.5 paid hours)

• Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr, depending on experience

• Interview Format: Virtual interview with Kelly Running

• Feedback Timeline: 24–48 hours

Assignment Overview:

• Support SLPs at two middle schools

• Assist SLP covering high school, alternative program, and private schools

• In-person only

• One opening available

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in SLPA or bachelor’s in speech-language pathology/communication disorders

• Oregon SLPA certification

• Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork

• At least 1 year of SLPA experience preferred

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• TB screening and current health certificate (as required)

• Must be 18+ and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
