Hiring- Specialized Academic Instructor (SAI) Teacher – 25/26 School Year

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking Specialized Academic Instructor (SAI) Teacher in the Orange County region for the 2025 – 2026 school year until December 2025. 

The SAI Teacher provides specialized academic instruction to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a variety of settings, including general education classrooms, resource rooms, and small group environments. The teacher collaborates with general education staff, service providers, and families to ensure students receive appropriate supports and services to access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.

Requirements:
  • Mild-Mod credential OR Mod-Severe credential (required)
  • Active CA Teaching License (required)
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals and grade-level standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with IEP team members.
  • Provide accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices and co-teaching models.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports, service logs, and IEP paperwork.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
