Special Education Teacher – Sacramento, CA | K–12 | $45–$55/hr

Amergis is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to join a collaborative team serving students across Sacramento. Whether you’re drawn to RSP, Mild/Moderate SDC, or Transitional Kindergarten settings, we have multiple site options and caseloads tailored to your strengths.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: August 25, 2025

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week | 36-week assignment

  • Pay Range: $45–$55/hr (local)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with IEPs

  • Collaborate with general education staff to implement inclusive practices

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Valid CA teaching credential (Special Ed, Elementary, or Secondary)

  • LBS1 endorsement preferred

  • 1+ year teaching experience preferred

  • CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as required

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
