Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time Opportunity
Location: Littleton, MA
Facility Type: Psychiatric Group Home
Partnered with: Amergis Healthcare Staffing
Duration: 13 weeks to start, with strong potential for extension
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule Options:
- Option 1: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Option 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) & Saturday (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a respected psychiatric group home in Littleton, MA. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, ask questions, and contribute positively to the care team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform duties within scope of practice accurately and promptly
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and protocols
- Assist healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests
- Observe infection control procedures, including universal precautions
- Report abnormal findings or conditions to supervising nurse
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across care settings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Preferably one year of CNA experience within the last three years
- Graduate of a certified nursing assistant program
- Active CNA certification in good standing
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clerical functions
- Compliance with professional standards of practice
- Completion of Amergis’ Competency Program (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training
