School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Santa Maria, CA

$90/hr Local  | $4,000+/week Travel | 2025–26 School Year

Hiring 8 full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support TK–8 students for the upcoming academic year. This is an in-person role starting August 11, 2025, with a 36-week contract.

Position Details

• Location: Santa Maria, CA

• Start Date: August 11, 2025

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week

• Grade Levels: TK–8 (assignments discussed during interview)

• Setting: In-person, classroom details TBD

• Openings: 2

• Contract Length: Full 2025–26 school year

• Local Pay Rate: $92/hr (negotiable)

• Travel Package: $4,000+ gross weekly

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

• Deliver and document therapy services per physician orders and district guidelines

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all documentation standards

Requirements

• Active California SLP license

• CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract)

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB clearance and health certificate per state/district regulations

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Minimum age: 18

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience required
