Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER)assignments in Houston, TX and surrounding areas!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 20

Start Date: 9/22

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) /Days, Evenings, or Nights / Every other weekend

 

Setting:

  • Children’s hospital

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN Peds ER/ED experience
  • TX RN or Compact RN license
  • BLS and PALS (AHA), TNCC (preferred)

ThePediatric Registered Nurse must be kind, compassionate, and caring towardschildren.  The Pediatric Registered Nurse must have a broad knowledge ofemergency pediatric nursing care and excellent communication and interpersonalskills.  The Pediatric RN assumes responsibility and accountability forthe application of nursing processes and the delivery of patient care in theemergency setting as well as effectively communicates with the patient’s familyand multidisciplinary team.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License with in the state of practice
  • Minimum of one year pediatric emergency room experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable       
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
