Special Education Teacher (Inclusion) – Gardner, MA

Contract Position | Full-Time Schedule

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a school in Gardner, MA, currently seeking a Special Education Inclusion Teacher to support students at the High School level for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative high school setting focused on both academic and social-emotional growth.

Position Overview

As an Inclusion Teacher, you will support a caseload of approximately 15 high school students with social-emotional needs. Two blocks per day will be spent in an academic support classroom, helping students work toward academic and social-emotional goals. You will also co-teach in general education classrooms—primarily ELA, with the possibility of Math.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 7:35 AM – 2:35 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic and emotional support to inclusion students
Co-teach in general education classrooms (ELA and possibly Math)
Facilitate academic support blocks focused on individualized goals
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
Monitor student progress and contribute to IEP development

Qualifications

Active MA DESE Special Education license
Experience supporting students with social-emotional needs
Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively in both inclusion and support settings
