Telecom Administrator

The Telecom Administrator I is an entry level-position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, incident management and request fulfillment in telecommunications technology space.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for reviewing/updating/delegating all incoming incidents, requests and tasks in the Telecom ticket queues, and taking appropriate action to resolve in a timely manner based on priority
  • Oversee programming of end user data into Cisco Call Manage for new hire telephone requests, moves/adds/changes and ensure inventory is shipped prior to the delivery due date
  • Engage in regular testing of phone inventory and prepare endpoints for shipment
  • Manage voice mailboxes in Cisco Unity for new hires, terminations, moves/adds/changes
  • Manage call report requests – additions/removals as requested
  • Support Faxback software and troubleshoot/fulfill branch faxing incidents/requests
  • Administration of Cisco WebEx
  • Address and resolve planned and unplanned branch phone system outages; work with vendors and carriers to escalate; keep impacted parties informed and consistently enter updates to associated incident tickets
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with phones – both hardware and software related
  • High-level support of Ricoh multi-functional printer/scanner/fax hardware
  • Perform other duties as assigned/necessary
Job Requirements:
  • Up to 1 year of administrative experience with Cisco Unified Call Manager 10.x and Cisco Unity
  • Preferred experience with Cisco Contact Center Express
  • Preferred experience with administrating Cisco WebEx
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Preferred CCNA or Network+ certification
  • Preferred inventory management experience
  • Preferred experience with Solarwinds
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
  • Vendor management skills
  • Preferred experience with multi-functional printers (MFP/MFD)
