Pay: Up to $27/hour | Monday–Friday Morning Shifts | Weekly Pay + Benefits

We are hiring experienced Behavior Technicians to provide school-based ABA therapy services to students with autism and developmental disabilities. This full-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and committed to supporting student success in educational settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), tailored to classroom and school environments.
  • Apply ABA Therapy Techniques in Educational Settings: Use evidence-based ABA strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and reinforcement systems to support academic, behavioral, and social development.
  • Collect and Record Student Data: Accurately track progress on IEP goals and behavior targets using data collection tools; complete session notes and documentation in compliance with school district and ABA provider policies.
  • Promote Positive Student Engagement: Encourage appropriate classroom behavior, attention, and participation through proactive behavior support and positive reinforcement.
  • Collaborate with School Professionals: Partner with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, speech therapists, and BCBAs to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies.
  • Manage Challenging Behaviors: Respond to behavioral incidents using trained de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support Social Skills and Emotional Regulation: Help students build peer interaction skills, emotional coping strategies, and independence through structured ABA-based interventions.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Professional Ethics: Adhere to HIPAA and FERPA regulations; demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
  • Must be comfortable commuting to and working at school sites in Tustin, Orange, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, and Irvine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, or RBT preferred
