Part-Time Physical Therapist – Lawrence, MA

Contract Position | Flexible Part-Time Schedule

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a charter school, currently seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide in-person services across multiple campuses in Lawrence, MA. This is a great opportunity to support students’ physical development in a collaborative and mission-driven school environment.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a caseload of approximately 10 students (subject to change) across campuses, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to promote student mobility, strength, and independence.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling available
Up to 10 hours/week
Services may be provided between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Pay Rate: $55–$65/hr
Mileage reimbursement available for travel between campuses

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site physical therapy services across campuses
Collaborate with school teams to support student development
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
Communicate effectively with families and school staff

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy license
Experience working with children with diverse physical needs preferred
Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
