Part-Time Physical Therapist – Lawrence, MA
2025–2026 School Year
Contract Position | Flexible Part-Time Schedule
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a charter school, currently seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide in-person services across multiple campuses in Lawrence, MA. This is a great opportunity to support students’ physical development in a collaborative and mission-driven school environment.
Position Overview
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a caseload of approximately 10 students (subject to change) across campuses, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to promote student mobility, strength, and independence.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling available
Up to 10 hours/week
Services may be provided between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Pay Rate: $55–$65/hr
Mileage reimbursement available for travel between campuses
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site physical therapy services across campuses
- Collaborate with school teams to support student development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy license
- Experience working with children with diverse physical needs preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
