?? School Speech-LanguagePathologist (SLP) – Elementary Level | $60/hr ??
Location: Owasso, OK
Contract Length: Full 25-26 school year
Pay: $60/hour
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking tomake a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? Join our dynamic teamin an elementary school setting where your expertise will help shape the futureof students through individualized and classroom-based support.
?? What You’ll Do:
- Provide 1:1 speech/language therapy and support students in classroom settings.
- Evaluate and assess students’ functional status to identify therapy needs.
- Administer and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in IEP, staffing, and eligibility meetings.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) targeting student goals.
- Design engaging activities to improve speech, voice, fluency, and language skills.
- Empower students to monitor and practice their speech independently.
- Consult with teachers to integrate speech/language techniques into daily routines.
- Track progress, adjust therapy plans, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Partner with parents/guardians to support therapy at home.
- Serve as a resource for staff and assist with referrals and specialist consultations.
- Uphold legal and ethical standards in all therapy services.
?? Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Active SLP Licensure in Oklahoma.
- Oklahoma Teaching Certification or approved Alternative Certification.
- CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract).
- CPR certification, TB screening, and current health certificate (as applicable).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of speech/language needs for ages 3–21.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.
