Amergis is hiring two dedicated Special Education Teachers to support middle and high school students in the Madison area for the 2025–2026 school year. These roles offer meaningful impact in inclusive, cross-categorical settings.

Full-Time – High School

Part-Time (.5 FTE) – Middle School
Caseload
-
Approximately 13–15 cross-categorical students
-
Provide targeted instruction and support across multiple disability categories
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
-
Deliver differentiated instruction to meet academic, social, and behavioral goals
-
Conduct formal and informal assessments to track progress and adjust instruction
-
Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons
-
Coordinate with families, administrators, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support
-
Manage behavior plans and implement positive behavior interventions

Monitor and report on student growth, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance
Position Details

Schedule: August 2025 – June 2026

Compensation: $40–$45/hour, based on experience

Location: Greater Madison area
Ideal Candidates

Hold a valid Wisconsin DPI license in Special Education
