Occupational Therapist - School

Job Title:

Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based (In-Person)

Location:

Multiple school sites within the district (specific locations to be discussed during interview)
This is a floating position with a set schedule that may adjust based on student needs.

August 25, 2025

Position Type:

• Full-Time
• Duration: Full School Year (9 months)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM (35 paid hours/week, 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services across multiple school locations
• Perform student evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapy services in accordance with physician orders and student needs
• Document services and progress using Relay EMR
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 38 student contacts per week
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success in inclusive environments

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Occupational Therapist Licensure in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting preferred
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening and health certificate (as required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must meet credentialing requirements: MD 486, CPS, FP (at CCPS HQ), MSDE
