Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Behavior Technicians to join our school-based team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This floater/fill-in position is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy supporting a variety of students and classrooms throughout the day.

Location: Pasadena, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approximately 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Range: $22–$26/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and classroom-based behavioral support to students with diverse needs
• Assist with daily routines including classroom participation, grooming, meals, and toileting
• Support student mobility and transitions throughout the school day
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and promote student independence
• Respond to behavioral challenges using evidence-based ABA strategies
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Accurately document services, incidents, and progress
• Communicate regularly with the Amergis team to confirm schedules and updates
• Adapt to changing assignments and school needs with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field (preferred)
• Experience working with children or students with behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid TB test (skin or chest X-ray)
• Health clearance (if required by school or district)
• Completion of Amergis onboarding and training process
