Caregiver | San Francisco, CA | August Start | 13 weeks Contract
We’re hiring a compassionate Caregiver I to join a vibrant Adult Day Program serving older adults in San Francisco. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide personal care and support in a community-focused setting that prioritizes dignity, inclusion, and empowerment—especially for LGBTQ seniors.
Position Highlights:
Location: San Francisco, CA
Setting: Adult Day Program – Community-Based Health Services
Start Window: 2 weeks within offer
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year working with elderly or frail populations
Commitment: Strong interest in serving LGBTQ seniors
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR certification before start date
-Basic conversational English; fluency in a second language is a plus
-Basic computer proficiency and comfort with technology
Role Overview:
As a Caregiver, you’ll provide personal care and escort assistance tailored to each participant’s needs. You’ll support grooming, dressing, toileting, bathing, eating, and more. You’ll also help facilitate activities, report changes in condition, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all participants. Bilingual caregivers may also assist with translation.
