The Dietary Technician is responsible for assisting withmenu selection and calculations, patient tray line, calorie counts, patientinterviews for food preferences and intake. The Dietary Technician assists inproviding nutrition assessments, implementation and monitoring of nutritiontherapy that is provided by the Registered Dieticians.
Rate : $45- 55 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Certificate (or equivalent)
- Dietetic Technician Diploma Preferred, may be required bystate or client contract
- Food Services Management Experience Preferred
- One year experience as a Dietary Technician preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
