As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll work under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator to deliver high-quality services to students in grades 4 through 6. You’ll be a key player in a collaborative team, developing and implementing individualized programs that include specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff.

Location: Indianapolis,IN
Grade Levels: 4th through 6th
Compensation Package: $42/hour + Full Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate openings available

What You’llDo:

Provide tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

What We’reLooking For:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid Indiana teaching certificate (required)
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (preferred)
Certifications preferred:

Standard Elementary Teaching
Standard Secondary Teaching
Standard Special Teaching
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (as applicable)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
