AmergisEducational Staffing is partnered with a school in Rockland, MA who iscurrently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with students on acontractual basis.
Detailsof the Position Include:
Location: Rockland, MA
Pay Rate: $60/hour (based on experience)
Start Date: August 27th, 2025
Duration: January 9th, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Requirements: Occupational Therapist Licensure
Description: This position is to provide coverage for a maternity leave.The primary focus of the role is early intervention, working predominantly withPre-K and Kindergarten students. There is a small population of students at themiddle school level, and a limited number of high school students receivingconsult-only services. The total caseload includes 24 students: 3 at the highschool level (consult only), 4 at the middle school level, with the remainderconcentrated in early childhood education. The previous Occupational Therapisthas left comprehensive documentation and resources to support a smooth andefficient transition.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
- One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
