Position: PACU RN (Registered Nurse)
Location: Brockton, MA
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week, 312 or 4×10 Hour option, Shift start times vary, Dayshifts.
Day shift RN, with same requirements as above, but must have preop and pediatric experience, as well as PALS certification.
4 – 10 hour shifts, days with variable start times (6-9am) OR
3 – 12 hour shifts, days/evenings with variable start times (6a-11a)
Night, weekend, and holiday call shift rotation required
Pay: $3,122/Week for 40’s
Start Date: 9/15
Other: Experienced PACU RN, Phase 1 and Phase 2 in an acute care hospital setting with prior Travel RN experience. Must have critical care experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Preferred skills: pediatric, preop, PALS certification, and Meditech
The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient post operation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
- ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
