Position: ABA Paraprofessional

Location: Lenox, MA
Start Date: August 2025
Duration: Full School Year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, approx. 8:00AM – 3:45PM (includes transport)
Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a student and serve as a bus monitor during transportation. Student specifics will be discussed during interview, but candidates should be prepared to manage behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury.

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of ABA experience
• Experience working with students with ASD, developmental disabilities, or behavioral diagnoses
• Comfort managing behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury

Required Skills:

• De-escalation techniques
• Trauma-informed practices
• Data collection (types/programs used)
• Flexibility to assist in other classrooms, recess, lunch, or bus duty
• Willingness to assist with changing/toileting if needed

District Requirements:

• School CORI
• Fingerprinting
