Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a much respected school in Palmer, MA, currently seeking a full-time SLPA to support students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.

Position Overview
As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will primarily work with elementary-aged students who have shown a need for speech services but are not yet on IEPs. You may also assist with high school students or those with more severe needs. The caseload will include approximately 25–30 students.

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: August 25, 2025
Pay Rate: Up to $42/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language interventions under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students not yet on IEPs as well as those with more significant needs
• Assist with evaluations and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams as needed
• May occasionally assist at the high school

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts SLPA license
• Minimum one year of in-school SLPA experience (excluding internships/observations)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
