Behavior Technician – Special Needs Services Amergis Education

Position Summary: Amergis Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to support educational and behavioral programs for children and adults with special needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other behavioral specialists to help clients achieve individualized learning and behavioral objectives in school and community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of certified professionals

  • Support the development of social, academic, and life skills

  • Collect and document data on client progress

  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for individuals with varying needs

  • Maintain strong communication with families, school personnel, and multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • At least two (2) years of pediatric experience (preferred)

  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)

  • Completion of TB screening via questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

  • Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local employment standards

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation: ?? $21.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
