Job Title: School Psychologist
Company: Amergis Healthcare Staffing
Location: Northern California (NorCal) – Multiple school districts
Contract Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
Estimated Pay: $63+/hour or up to $3,300/week depending on assignment
Job Summary:
As a School Psychologist with Amergis, you will provide on-site psychological services to students across various school districts in Northern California. You will play a vital role in supporting students with mental health, behavioral, and developmental challenges, helping them access appropriate educational and therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to students.
Support students with mental health and developmental issues.
Aid in qualifying students for additional support services.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Psychology or School Psychology (required).
Valid California PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential.
Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred.
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
CPR certification (if applicable).
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable).
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must be at least 18 years of age.

The School Psychologist works to support students through avariety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifyingstudents for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-sitepsychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state anddistrict.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must maintain current State licensures and/or certificationsin state of assignment
- Experience in pediatric and adolescent population ispreferred
- Master’s degree in psychology preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
