Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced and qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) at correctional facilities in North Carolina. The details for these positions are as follows:

Position Description:
The Correctional LPN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional LPN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting. 
Schedule/Shift Details: (varies by location)
  • Days Shifts- 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr. options
  • Evening Shifts- 8hr and 12hr. options
  • Nights Shifts- 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr. options
  • 36hr/48hr rotations or 40hr weeks, every other weekend

Requirements:

  • Must have corrections experience, NCDAC preferred
  • Must be a licensed practical nurse for a minimum of 1 year 
  • Must be comfortable working in a correction/prison setting 
  • Must have current TB and BLS
